New Year’s Resolutions/2007 Goals

OK, I’m going to take the bold move of trying to write down my goals for this year.  It might even be just the first half of the year, since I can’t really think more than 6 months in advance.  Hopefully by writing them down I will have some incentive to do complete them.  Continue reading “New Year’s Resolutions/2007 Goals”

Long, Strange Trip

Happy New Year’s everyone.  We are fresh off a traveling marathon and trying to adjust back to reality after the chaos that was the Christmas break.  Here was our schedule for the past two weeks (driving time in parentheses):   Fri, Dec 22 – Drive to Onida to Becky’s parents (5 hrs) Sat, Dec 23Continue reading “Long, Strange Trip”

Christmas: 3 down, 1 to go

Merry Christmas everyone!   It’s a pretty strange Christmas here in Minnesota with no snow on the ground.  It’s about 35 degrees and I haven’t worn my jacket in 3 days.  If we could keep the temperature and have a light dusting on the ground, that would be perfect.   We celebrated Christmas with Becky’sContinue reading “Christmas: 3 down, 1 to go”

A Mouthful

This entry will be a random update on the past week:   Amelia is now working heavily on her 3rd, 4th and 5th teeth.  She has the two middle ones on the bottom and now she’s getting her left top middle tooth and one to left on the bottom.  She’s also starting her second middleContinue reading “A Mouthful”

Taydon Thomas

Katie and Amelia have a new cousin as of about 4:20 this afternoon – Taydon Thomas LaRosh.  He is 8 lbs 13 oz and doing well.  He’s Brandon and Tina’s first child.  Tina was apparently in labor for 2 days, so I’m hopeful she’s getting a chance to get some sleep tonight.    We’re headingContinue reading “Taydon Thomas”

Down But Not Out

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, we headed out to South Dakota to see Becky’s relatives.  On Saturday afternoon, while wearing a smile, Amelia started throwing up out of nowhere.  She did this three or four times throughout the afternoon.  This was pretty odd since she seemed happy and had all her color.  She threw up againContinue reading “Down But Not Out”

Our Christmas Letter

It’s December so that means it’s time for our annual Christmas letter.  If it comes out all right, it may be arriving in a mailbox near you.   Merry Christmas to everyone.  I hope this letter finds you all healthy and happy.   Our year has been blessed in many ways.  The most blessful eventContinue reading “Our Christmas Letter”

MVP

I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without blogging more about the Minnesota Twins since I’m such an obsessed fan.  I would say I know more about the Twins that practically anyone, but there are so many people blogging about the Twins now and they seem to know which Class A pitcher has the bestContinue reading “MVP”

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  I think Katie’s finally asleep now (she didn’t go down until 10:20), so I have a few spare moments for an entry.  This is a random thought entry:   New Quote from Katie Katie (holding a magazine stuffer with SpongeBob on it): Daddy, this isn’t sticking on the wall Me: It’sContinue reading “Happy Thanksgiving”

Katie’s Greatest Quotes

Katie Getting Sick Eric: Jalynn was sick today – she wasn’t feeling very well Eric: Jett was sick too Katie: (With a sad face) I’m sick too. Eric: Really? Katie: I don’t feel very well – it hurts right here (pointing to her chin – again with a very sad face).     Katie asContinue reading “Katie’s Greatest Quotes”
