Apparently the Celebrity Cruise line is renowned for its food. After five days at sea, we really can’t dispute that claim. The food is unique, plentriful, good and easy to find. The primary eating options were the Grand Restaurant – a formal dining room, the Island Cafe – a buffet with tons of options orContinue reading “The Food”

ATV Trip
We were told that when we get to Jamaica we should do an excursion because the beaches were filled with people interested in personal charity (panhandlers). From our experience, it didn’t seem that way, but we were definitely glad we took the advice to go on an excursion. Most excursion options included a trip toContinue reading “ATV Trip”
On a Cruise
We finally went on that cruise I’ve promised Becky this past week. We went on the Celebrity Century ship on a 5-day cruise with stops in Jamaica and Grand Cayman. We had a really good time. It was a good chance to get away and it was fun to experience the different cuisine and cultures. Continue reading “On a Cruise”
You Can’t Be Serious
Snow on April 26th? This can’t really be happening, can it? We have 8 inches of snow on the ground. It basically snowed from 2:00 pm to at least 2:00 am last night. I went to play poker at a neighbor’s house, and I had a tough time driving home through all that snow. ThisContinue reading “You Can’t Be Serious”
Falling Behind
Wow, it’s been 6 weeks since my last blog entry. I need to get back on the horse. A lot has happened over the past 6 weeks and many items deserve their own blog entry. Here are some things I should write about: My trip to Orlando for work Doodlebops Concert/Zach’s Birthday Becky’s BirthdayContinue reading “Falling Behind”
Water Park – Year 2
For my mom’s 39th birthday for the 21st time, our family celebrated by going back to the Thumper Pond Waterpark we went to last year in February (here’s that story: http://enewell.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!444015D56683B8E9!314.entry). Last year, Katie had a good time, but took it fairly easy and Amelia was scared pretty much the whole time. This yearContinue reading “Water Park – Year 2”
A Good Doctor’s Visit
Today was Amelia’s 2 year check-up. Going to the doctor has been frequent and not fun for Amelia up to this point, but that changed for the better today. First, we got her measurements – 27.6 pounds and 32 3/4 inches tall which puts her in the 20% for height and the 60% for weight. Continue reading “A Good Doctor’s Visit”
Singing in Church
Katie sang in church this weekend. We have the videos to prove it. I failed to get the part between songs when she said "Hi Daddy" when the church was silent. Links to videos of Katie singing in church: God Is Love Praise Ye the Lord I’m in the Lord’s Army
Walking in Memphis
I went on a little adventure to Memphis this week for work. I arrived Monday night at about 9 and got to my nice hotel room with a 42" HDTV at about 9:40. The moment I started to take my coat off, I got a call from another customer, and worked with them on anContinue reading “Walking in Memphis”
This Week in Review
I should first start out by saying it sure is nice that our jobs our flexible. I’ve had to work from home three days this week with Becky joining me for 1 1/2 days. Amelia had diarrhea on Tuesday but was at daycare. That night, she couldn’t keep anything down, so we thought Wednesday mightContinue reading “This Week in Review”
