We hit a big milestone yesterday as Katie was finally able to bike without her training wheels. It’s not that she’s too old or anything, it’s just that we’ve been trying for the past month to get her to ride by herself. I realize how little patience I really have when I’ve been pushing her for 8 blocks and she keeps falling over as soon as I let go. Becky deserves the credit for sticking this out and getting her to ride. We bought her a new 20” bike for Christmas, but it wasn’t going well riding that bike. So we tried her old bike at varying degrees of training wheels until I finally took them off yesterday.
