Apparently my mobile phone would only allow me to add entries that were like 300 characters or less, so that’s why my entry got cut off.
We hit Hollywood Studios just as it was opening at 9am, and we got to get into the park early because Becky volunteered me to be a contestant on American Idol. I made the cut there and had to go back into the American Idol building to wait to try out for the producer for the chance to sing in front of a huge audience later that day. I got to take Katie into the tryout room with me and we sat there forever before I sang "Smooth" for the producer. I didn’t make the cut, but that’s okay – didn’t really want to at that point. We headed over to watch Beauty and the Beast, which was great, while Becky hit the Tower of Terror. Next we caught an impromptu High School Musical performance as we walked over to lunch at Mama Melrose, an Italian place.
After lunch we hit the super-popular Toy Story ride. It was quite fun – you go around in a little car thingy and shoot at items that have different point values. It’s a fun ride for people of every age. We watched the Block Party Bash parade and then called it a day at the park. We got back and went swimming and called it a night pretty early.
