Quick Christmas Recap

It’s been a busy holiday season.  Thankfully we’ve had a lot of time off from work to be able to fit everything in.

Fri Dec 19 – go to Onida for LaRosh family Christmas – open presents that night
Sat Dec 20 – open stocking stuffers that morning as we spend the day in Onida
Sun Dec 21 – head back home through a snow storm
Mon Dec 22 – Becky worked and I spent the day at school checking out some new technology.  We also didn’t have any heat in our house that day – it was a busy day off
Tue Dec 23 – Becky worked and I took the girls up to see my grandma.  Opened present from great-grandma.  Did tons of chores around the house – not sure why they call it vacation
Wed Dec 24 – Opened presents at our house in the morning, then went to Christmas Eve service at my hometown church then on to grandma and grandpa’s house for a sleepover.  Opened 1 present each that night.
Thu Dec 25 – Stayed at my parents and were joined by my brother Marc and his family.  Santa Claus came that morning and we opened another present that night.
Fri Dec 26 – At my parents (came home late that night) and were joined by my other brother Dave and his wife.  Opened family presents that day
Sat Dec 27 – Girls woke up to realize Santa had come to our house – more presents.  Went back to my parents and had a fun day playing in the snow and with the toys there
Sun Dec 28 – did very little at home – Katie and I made a cool snow fort and snow tunnel before freezing our hands off.  Didn’t open any presents

That’s the timeline for the last week and a half with all the gift openings thrown in.  Becky went on inventory reduction duty this weekend to clear out extra toys and clothes we could replace with the onslaught of new toys.  We had a great time during the holiday season and it was great to be able to spend so much time with family.
