Early October Update (by Becky)

We have been pretty busy lately and I wanted to get some of our activities written down before I forget them.  From Sept 7th – 12th Eric was in Munich.  It sounds like he was pretty busy with work and didn’t see a whole lot but he got a little sight-seeing in.  On Sept 22nd Katie stated pre-school.  She loves it and looks forward to Mondays and Wednesdays.  She has princess underwear with the days of the week on them and she purposely saves the Monday and Wednesday pairs for her pre-school days.  On that same day after dropping Katie off at school, I headed to York, Pennsylvania.  I was there until Friday.  When I got back on Friday I picked the girls up around 3:00 and then we packed and headed to Ann and Norm’s.  It was Eric and I’s 10th anniversary so we spent the weekend together while the girls stayed with Grandma and Grandpa.  This past weekend I headed to Omaha with my Mom and sisters for our annual Christmas shopping weekend.  It was the first time we had gone somewhere new and it was a blast.  I got back on Sunday so we could celebrate Eric’s 34^th birthday.  This week Eric heads to Montreal on Tuesday.  I will be home with the girls on Tuesday since daycare is closed.  I’m hoping we get to carve some pumpkins and have some fun together.  On a different note Baby Buhler is due any time now – actually she was due yesterday.  Normally we would head to my hometown to see her but we have already arranged for Eric’s brothers to come help us this weekend at our lake lot.  Also Katie sings in church on Sunday.  We have next Monday and Tuesday off so we might have to sneak a trip in.  As you can see life has been insanely busy for us lately.  We’ve been single parenting our kids for a month.  Hopefully things should quiet down by the middle of October.  All of our scheduled trips are done and life should be back to normal soon.
