Last weekend I had my 10th annual 500 card weekend with my friends from college. Every year we get together at one of our houses to play cards, catch up and rip on each other for an entire weekend. It’s a good time, and this year was no exception. This year we got together at Rosco’s house. He owns a pizza buffet restaurant, so we definitely got our fill of pizza over the weekend. By the time the weekend was over, I actually chose chicken over pizza at the buffet because I’d had enough. We spent Saturday night out at a fine dining establishment which was low on ambiance, but the food was quite good.
I kept track of the numbers as we played this weekend. According to the numbers we played 386 hands of 500 starting at 8pm on Friday night and ending by Sunday morning about 11:30. Here are the final results for the weekend – we were finally able to have each person play with the other, so it was a complete round robin ths year:

I had a really bad stretch on Saturday afternoon where I lost 7 series and like 14 of 16 games. That was my downfall for the weekend.
