You Can’t Be Serious

Snow on April 26th?  This can’t really be happening, can it?  We have 8 inches of snow on the ground.  It basically snowed from 2:00 pm to at least 2:00 am last night.  I went to play poker at a neighbor’s house, and I had a tough time driving home through all that snow.  This is the third time it’s snowed hard this month.  Everyone I talked to at poker had already put away all their shovels and snow plows, so we’ll have to let this melt – hopefully soon.  We actually got our car stuck in the driveway because there’s about a 2 foot drift that the Prius couldn’t get over.  I had to shovel for about 30 minutes to make a pathway big enough to get the cars out.  Fun times.

When I talk to people who live outside of frozen tundra, I usually tell them that we have snow up until March 15, and then we usually get one blast after that sometime at the end of March or early April.  This year we’ve gotten like 5 blasts after that time.

OK – this has to be the last snow, right?
