Amelia turned two this week, and seems to be ready to move forward after a bit of a long year. She was so happy today at her party – having fun with her cousins, eating her cake and playing with her new toys – it was great to see. Maybe it was just because we did whatever she wanted, but she was so good today. She really is a good girl provided she’s fed on time. She shares; she rarely wrestles with you when you have to change her diaper; she’s an outstanding eater; she’s great in the bath; she’s no trouble when someone else is watching her; and lately she’s even gotten into cuddling.
Her cousins, Noah, Zach and baby Isaac, came up to visit this weekend along with Grandma Nola and Great Grandma Becky. Grandpa and Grandma Newell came up for the party this afternoon as well. There was a terrible wind storm today which made roads impassable this morning, so the Uggerud and cousin Parker couldn’t make the trip. Katie and Becky made a chocolate cake for the occasion and our neighbors, the Bakers, came over since they were snowed into town as well.
